Responsibilities
Pitching and dealing in OTC commodity products with CIMB's clients across the region
Build connectivity and engage with key commodity liquidity providers in the market
Work with commodity trading desk for readiness to support the delivery of various commodity derivative solutions to clients
Work with respective countries' Treasury sales team and coverage bankers on internal requirements to support commodity deal flows
Connect with senior level client contacts to develop and originate incremental client relationships regionally, working in conjunction with the local country teams
Devise segment strategies to boost commodity sales revenues and reporting of progress to management
Enhance commodity segment knowledge of internal partners by conducting training for Treasury Sales teams, relationship managers, credit risk partners and other internal stakeholders to support growth of the business.
Qualifications
At least 15years experience in marketing OTC commodity derivatives to sophisticated industry players, corporate entities covering traders, producers and consumers segments
Have established senior level client contacts
In-depth knowledge of corporate clients' commodity trading and hedging requirements across different industries
Well versed with commodity industry trends
Strong interpersonal skills and team player with ability to work with teams across the region and excel in a team setting
