Objective: Builds the Groups' identity and reputation amongst the media, external and internal audiences. Supports organisational development through internal communications.Key Accountabilities: Media Relations Developing and implementing public relations strategies. Developing storylines and messages. Building and maintaining relationships with journalists, internal and external stakeholders; Responding to requests for information from the media Actively identifying media opportunities and placing the Group's topics and messages in the relevant media; Developing and executing cross media PR-campaigns Developing and executing suitable communication formats, i.e. press releases, interviews, press conferences, background-talks Monitoring and evaluating the mediaCrisis Communication Managing the crisis communication agency and develop key-messages Preparing and editing publications, like magazines and newsletters Managing the Subject Matter Experts Network Managing content development and content repositoryInternal communications Managing the strategy and execution of internal communications Being the sparring partner for the Schulte Group Marketing Leads for strategy and daily businessRequirementsEducation & Qualifications: Degree in journalism, PR, communications or similarWork experience: 5 years experience in international media and public relations Work experience ideally from the shipping industryJob-Specific Skills: Excellent writing skills Crisis communication management Ability to adapt to different audiences Good knowledge of the media landscape Ability to turn complex topics into engaging stories
