The position is for the team within EY GDS’ Markets, Brand Marketing and Communications and Administrative Services (MBA) team and will be aligned to the Communications centre of excellence. This position will work with the US BMC team; working the US night shift to create compelling content for various internal communications deliverables.
We are looking for an energetic, proactive, detailed, organized and fun person who enjoys a team dynamic but can also work on their own. This team member will be an extension of the team, navigating EY, specifically aligning to sector internal communications and Markets Hub Comms Channels support.
This will include administrative activities, coordinating with internal resources, as well as helping to foster community and engagement across our internal communications channels, within Markets and beyond, to create internal awareness of Sector thought leadership, events, client wins, team news, and other related go-to-market content.
Technical Skills/Tools Requirement

• Excellent writing ability in English and experience in various forms of writing – must be able to produce writing samples in English or complete a writing assignment
• Strong editing and proofreading skills
• Extensive experience in internal communications / corporate communications
• Excellent project management skills
• Strong attention to detail
• MS Office – Word, Power Point, Basic Excel

Roles and responsibilities

• Write, edit, produce and curate content for internal deliverables such as internal news articles, personnel announcements, newsletters, videos, internal reports, meeting and town-hall materials and intranet content
• Project manage, plan and prepare material for effective rollout of webcasts or virtual meetings
• Develop and execute internal communications strategy/plans, working with senior executives and business unit managers
• Interview stakeholders to gather information for preparing write-ups for various deliverables
• Draft business leadership and internal messages
• Develop and implement communications initiatives aligned to business priorities to engage, educate and inspire employees/users
• Interact and collaborate with internal teams on multiple projects
• Support EY brand, understand, implement, and strictly adhere to the quality standards and procedures established by EY, including verbal and branding guidelines
• Pursue and share best practices within the team
• Engage with key team members to identify their objectives, strategies, target audiences, differentiators and other aspects
• Demonstrate eye for detail and ensure all deliverables are of high quality
• Have knowledge of PowerPoint and create EY-compliant presentation decks
• Communications channel amplification
• US Intranet Markets Hub communications content/design
• Microsoft Teams content
• Proofreading, editing and liaising with CSG on CE content
• Sector news monitoring (internal)

• Advise team on communication strategy for deliverables
• Demonstrate business acumen to understand the leadership strategy and translate it in the deliverables prepared
• Eager and a fast learner who is willing to expand on core skills
• Experience with Teams and Yammer

Educational Background

• Graduate – Bachelor’s or master’s degree – preferably in English literature/Mass communication/Journalism
