Job Description

As a Communications Executive, you will support both internal and external communications of Singapore Hospice Council (SHC) to promote hospice and palliative care in Singapore, and attract increased As a Communications Executive, you will support both internal and external communications of Singapore Hospice Council (SHC) to promote hospice and palliative care in Singapore, and attract increased funding for SHC's work to improve the quality of life for both patients and the families. You will report to the Manager, Communications & Fundraising and this role will require you to build and support SHC's relationships with member organisations, social service agencies (SSAs), corporations, government agencies, institutions, donors and volunteers, to contribute to the cause. A. COMMUNICATIONS FUNCTION Develop content strategy and editorial calendar to meet SHC's marketing and fundraising targets. Writing, editing and proofreading marketing content. Create and maintain consistent content to generate publicity, raise brand awareness and increase donations. Plan and publish content across all platforms including but not limited to blog posts, website updates, multimedia articles, images, videos that foster better engagement with our target audience. Plan and execute all digital marketing activities, including SEO/SEM. Build and maintain our social media presence through organic and paid campaigns. Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns. Support the planning and execution of SHC's marketing and fundraising events. Collaborate with relevant departments to create marketing campaigns. Manage the production of quarterly magazine The Hospice Link and work with editors, translators, typesetters and other vendors. Manage the timely productions of other marketing materials such as annual reports, publications, collaterals and design. Support the planning and execution of SHC's marketing and fundraising events. B. ADMINISTRATION Maintain all records of public education activities, events, projects, media coverage, outcomes and fundraising. File reports and claims as required. Manage vendors and suppliers. Attend and support internal and external meetings, including minutes taking, when required. Support and promote training and fundraising activities. Perform any other duties that may be assigned by the supervisor and/or Executive Director from time to time. Requirements A Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Digital Marketing or related field. Fresh Grads may apply. Excellent communication and writing skills. Able to carry out English/Chinese translation duties would be an added advantage. Results-driven, team player, resourceful and independent. Highly creative to create digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate. Good knowledge of website analytics tools, e.g. Google Analytics. Working knowledge of WordPress, Mailchimp applications and social media platforms.
