In Aerospace, the largest avionics manufacturing site for the Thales Group is located in Singapore.Thales employs over 2,000 people of over thirty nationalities in Singapore, across three locations in Singapore, which includes 28 Changi North Rise (CNR), 12 Ayer Rajah Crescent (ARC) and Suntec City.About the InternshipThe Communications team is looking to engage an intern, whos bursting with creative ideas and enthusiasm, to support us in upcoming projects that help enhance the Thales brand in Singapore and throughout the Asia region. The intern will work closely with the Communications team and with other business functions to communicate across multiple channels (internal & external) on a diverse array of topics cutting across all business sectors that Thales is involved in. This is a great opportunity to be exposed to a wide variety of communications activities, from writing to content generation, video production and editing, design to events management.Main Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Content generation and design work of short-form articles like internal articles, social media posts, video descriptions, posters and more
• Pre-event and on-ground support at exhibitions, trade shows, conferences and internal events
• Creation of simple video and digital content, including filming and editing
• Liaison with Communications and HR on employer branding-related projects
• Maintain and enhance current Thales intranet site
• Administrative support and inventory management

Required skills and competencies:

• Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English
• Enthusiastic and proactive with a can-do attitude and ability to multi-task
• Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively across different teams and groups
• Proficient in the Microsoft Office portfolio, and comfortable with Photoshop or any other video-editing software
• Experience with creative design and/or Content Management Systems (CMS) would be a plus
