Job Description

As part of the Membership Engagement and Experience Team, you will assist in steering the development and growth of the department\'s Interest/Segment based communities through strategic coordination, stakeholder collaboration and management, and community-based programming, for the purpose of attracting prospective members, adding value to existing members, and perpetuating engagement within NTUC Club\'s entities - as well as the Labour Movement.



Member Relations

• Build, track and manage a quality member database that will facilitate the acquisition, engagement, and conversion of leads into the Department\'s Interest/Segment based communities, focusing on Families with Kids
• Liaising with members and identifying needs and opportunities for engagement
• Identify, engage and feature brand advocates/ambassadors, manage good relationships with them as faces and voices of the community

Programming & Member Engagement

• Design and curate a calendar-of-events, activities, and programmes to drive community engagement, especially for Families with Kids
• Oversee the delivery of calendar-of-events from idea conception to implementation: survey and research, project coordination, drafting programmes, defining the right formats, producing content, managing vendor relationships and stakeholder communications, managing budgets etc
• Establish and engage in marketing initiatives necessary to drive the Department\'s brands/product awareness, community on boarding and participation towards engagement activities
• Set up and manage community social media presence which includes the creation of creative content for its channel(s) to improve market share and the hosting of hybrid programmes to foster engagement

Stakeholder & Partner Management

• To identify, nurture and build connections and collaborations with partners and stakeholders to strengthen, and generate new potential, business engagement opportunities

Other duties

• Support in general Secretariat duties to ensure effective communication and correspondence with communities and stakeholders
• To ensure compliances to timeline, SOPs and alignments to strategic directions and outcomes
• Any other responsibilities / tasks as assigned by the Manager and Head of Department

Requirements

• Bachelor\'s Degree in Business, Marketing or equivalent
• At least 2 years relevant working experience
• Possess event management, community engagement, partnership relationship management, social media, content marketing and copywriting qualifications and experiences, or where relevant and equivalent
• Proven ability to plan and put ideas into action
• Prior experience managing Families with Kids community would be advantageous
• Experience with digital publishing and generating traffic and leads across different media platforms would be advantageous
• Good communication skills (written and verbal), with good project management & presentation skills
• Proficiency in MS office
• Ability to execute good judgement, work under pressure and a can-do spirit
• A team player and adaptable to changes

Together with the Attractions, Resorts & Entertainment Union (AREU), our staff sewed stuffed toys made from socks, with proceeds going to Dignity Mama to enable young adults with disabilities to gain basic entrepreneurial skills and lead independent lives.
