To provide administrative and operational support to the Community Outreach & Engagement Unit, with a focus on beneficiary assistance programmes, community distribution efforts, and outreach initiatives.
1. Reporting & Supervision
Report directly to the Manager, Community Outreach & Engagement Unit.
Work collaboratively with team members and volunteers to ensure smooth execution of programmes.
2. Community Bank
Receive and process referrals for diapers and milk; liaise with beneficiaries to assess and address needs.
Coordinate with team members to schedule, execute, and log distribution and collection of monthly essentials.
Drive the Association's van when required for distributions, collections, and community events.
Assist in receiving, sorting, and storing donated goods.
Support the Community Bank Coordinator in planning and executing food drives, promotional campaigns, and community education initiatives.
3. Beneficiary Support & Logistic
Coordinate the logistics for welfare distribution, including packing, transportation, and delivery of support items (e.g., Zakat, food packs, diapers and milk).
Assist with applications for various welfare support schemes, including financial aid and Ramadan Zakat.
Maintain and update the beneficiary database to ensure accurate records, service tracking, and reporting
4. Projek Sinar Ihsan
Lead planning, coordination, and execution of fostering outreach programmes
Build and maintain positive relationships with partners and community stakeholders to enhance programme impact and reach.
5. Community Outreach & Engagement
Provide support logistical and administrative support for the planning and execution of outreach programmes, community events, and engagement initiatives.
Assist in recruiting, engaging, and coordinating volunteers for various outreach activities and organisational programmes.
Support efforts to engage the wider community, including partners, stakeholders, and collaborators, to strengthen relationships and encourage participation in shared initiatives.
Assist in the preparation of reports, meeting notes, programme documentation, and post-event evaluations to ensure proper tracking and accountability.
6. Other Duties
Handle public queries and requests for assistance via walk-ins, email, and phone calls.
Carry out any other relevant duties as assigned by the Manager or department head.
REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS :
Diploma/Degree in any field
Passion for community work
Good communication & admin skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic data entry/management systems.
Willing to work occasionally on weekends (during events or disbursements)
Possession of a Class 3 driving license is an advantage
Fresh grads & those with experience welcome!
