Job Summary
We are seeking a highly competent and detail-oriented Company Accountant to manage our full set of accounts and ensure the company's financial operations are efficient and compliant with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and statutory regulations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, as well as the development of internal control policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Accounting & Reporting:
Manage the full set of accounts, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), and fixed assets.
Prepare timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) in accordance with SFRS.
Perform monthly closing and reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts (bank reconciliations, inter-company accounts, etc.).
Coordinate and lead the annual audit process, liaising with external auditors to ensure a smooth and efficient audit.
Taxation & Compliance:
Prepare and submit accurate GST returns to the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS) on a quarterly basis.
Handle corporate tax computations and filing of Estimated Chargeable Income (ECI) and Form C.
Ensure full compliance with all statutory requirements, including filings with ACRA (Annual Returns) and staying updated on changes in Singapore's financial regulations.
Manage withholding tax procedures where applicable.
Management Accounting & Analysis:
Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and financial projections.
Conduct variance analysis against budget and prior periods, providing meaningful insights to management for decision-making.
Monitor cash flow, prepare cash flow forecasts, and manage working capital effectively.
Operational & Process Improvement:
Oversee daily accounting operations and ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded and filed.
Develop and implement robust internal controls and streamline accounting processes for greater efficiency and accuracy.
Liaise with bankers, corporate secretaries, and other professional service providers.

Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
Professional accounting qualifications such as ACCA, CA (Singapore), CPA or equivalent are highly advantageous.
Minimum of
3-5 years
of relevant experience in handling the full set of accounts, preferably within the tourism, attractions or hospitality environment in Singapore.
Candidates must have in-depth knowledge of Singapore GAAP (SFRS), GST, and corporate tax regulations.

Technical Skills and Competencies
Essential:
Proficiency in accounting software - Xero and QuickBooks, and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUPs).
Proven experience in preparing financial statements and managing audit processes.
Strong understanding of internal controls and financial compliance.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
High level of integrity and professionalism when dealing with confidential information.
