Financial industry compliance is an established career path for accounting and law graduates. Compliance is an important part of the financial services infrastructure and an occupation that remains in demand even in challenging market times like the present.

ComplianceAsia is an independent compliance consulting firm in Asia Pacific, established in 2003 with key offices in Singapore, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Japan and London. We have an unmatched track record of completing complex compliance consulting projects for financial firms in the APAC region. With over 70 staff, including compliance experts with experience in dealing with the SFC, HKMA, MAS, CSRC, AMAC, JFSA and Asian Exchanges, we provide independent, unbiased advice on Asian financial industry legislation and regulations. Our international client base consists of asset managers, hedge funds, private equity funds, family offices, broker-dealers, insurers, wealth management and investment banks.

We also welcome graduates to join our entry level program based in Singapore. This is a full-time position. Candidates will spend the first year of their time at the firm experiencing both our licensing department and department handling compliance support for firms already licensed in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of applications for licensing with the Monetary Authority of Singapore ("MAS")
• Provide licensing services to our clients, including but not limited to prepare and submit licensing applications for corporations and liaise with the MAS in handling questions
• Set up compliance monitoring programme and conduct ongoing reviews for MAS regulated firms
• Provide advice to clients on MAS regulatory matters

Job Qualifications:

• Degree Holder in Business, Management, Accounting or Law
• Prior experience in working with a regulatory authority or working in an international financial institution is an advantage

Skills and Abilities:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Detailed-oriented
• Proactive working attitude and team player
