The Role

• Manage and maintain compliance programs to ensure ongoing compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Stay current with industry best practices and guidance related to regulatory compliance. Providing regular updates to Senior Management and impact assessment on organisational impact.
• Responsible for identifying, tracking, and remediating Singapore compliance issues working with cross-functional teams to provide clear, direct and timely feedback.
• Establish policies and procedures to develop a culture of compliance, and perform ongoing risk assessments for such policies and procedures.
• Create and maintain accurate and concise records of all compliance recommendations including details on the rationale for any decisions made.

Purpose of the Role
The mission of the Zipmex Compliance team is to promote a company culture that supports the implementation of best-in-class compliance standards and frameworks within the emerging digital assets industry. Our team is comprised of former members from leading fintech firms taking a proactive approach at shaping the standards for a safe, healthy and compliant industry.

Desired Skills and Experience

• Strong understanding of Singapore’s regulatory framework.
• Comfortable maintaining up to date knowledge on the rapidly evolving regulatory landscape.
• Demonstrated ability to author detailed business and compliance requirements; effectively communicating and managing relationships with business stakeholders.
• Problem-solving, positive and constructive attitude is a must.

The Requirements

• Executive level written and verbal communication skills.
• Passion and a strong interest in the digital asset industry.
• 6+ years of experience.
