You will maintain a thorough understanding of relevant regulatory requirements to provide advice and guidance across the firm as well as identify and implement plans for the remediation of weaknesses and deficiencies. You will be reporting to the OGM Head of Compliance.We work in a hybrid model - we\'d love to meet you in the office with respect to your own commitments.In this role, you will:Develop and update the compliance monitoring programme for OGM and establish adequate controls and processes within the firm in accordance with regulatory and internal requirements.Design processes and take ownership of submission of periodic and ad-hoc reports including system incident escalations in line with internal reporting processes.Provide advice and guidance to the firm on all compliance and AML matters, including client onboarding, funding, transactions monitoring, trading and ad hoc escalations and enquiries.Critically evaluate the issues raised, undertake independent decision making and be accountable for such decisions.Take ownership of complaints escalated to the compliance department, ensuring a thorough and independent investigation is undertaken.Administer the provision of online e-training and deliver face-to-face compliance and AML related training, including training on internal policies and procedures.What skillset do you need, to be successful in this role?Min. 3 years of relevant regulatory experience, in a generalist compliance role (including AML) at a similar type of investment/ broker firm.Fluent English.Dynamic, problem solving with strong analytical skills.Independent, ability to work on own initiative.Attention to details, organised and customer focused with effective time management.Ability to work flexible hours.Nice to have:Risk management and/or AML/compliance training certificates.Experience in AML/compliance surveillance and monitoring specifically related to spot cryptocurrency trading.OANDA Global Corporation is a diverse and global team with offices around the world.
