• Perform day-to-day computer operations such as the execution of batch jobs, system backup and monitoring of online services in the Mainframe (MVS) and AS/400 system in a 24x7 environment. \xe2\x80\xa2 Perform open system monitoring functions and provide support. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ensure timely batch service delivery is kept at optimum service level. \xe2\x80\xa2 Monitor the data center facilities, system uptime, system performance and online services. \xe2\x80\xa2 Provide operational support such as QA checklists, start-up/shutdown system tasks and system IPL. \xe2\x80\xa2 Diagnose and log hardware problems and system errors into problem ticketing system, coordinate problem resolution with respective vendor or system programmer. \xe2\x80\xa2 Escalate unresolved problems to next level or vendor. \xe2\x80\xa2 Maintain proper operation documentation and records.

What we are looking for:

• Prior working experience in a service desk operations or data center environment. \xe2\x80\xa2 Familiarity in incident management process. \xe2\x80\xa2 Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word & Excel). \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to work on 12-hour rotating shift, including weekends and public holidays. Seniority of appointment will commensurate with relevant work experience.
