• Perform day-to-day computer operations such as the execution of batch jobs, system backup and monitoring of online services in the Mainframe (MVS) and AS/400 system in a 24x7 environment. Perform open system monitoring functions and provide support. Ensure timely batch service delivery is kept at optimum service level. Monitor the data center facilities, system uptime, system performance and online services. Provide operational support such as QA checklists, start-up/shutdown system tasks and system IPL. Diagnose and log hardware problems and system errors into problem ticketing system, coordinate problem resolution with respective vendor or system programmer. Escalate unresolved problems to next level or vendor. Maintain proper operation documentation and records.

What we are looking for:

• Prior working experience in a service desk operations or data center environment. Familiarity in incident management process. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word & Excel). Ability to work on 12-hour rotating shift, including weekends and public holidays. Seniority of appointment will commensurate with relevant work experience.
