We are looking for a

Computer Programmer

to join our team and take ownership of developing an

in-house inventory tracking system

tailored to the specific needs of our cold-chain operations.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain a custom inventory tracking system for frozen and chilled meat products.


Automate tracking of stock movement from receiving, cold storage, and order fulfillment to dispatch.


Develop integrations with weighing scales, barcode scanners, and temperature monitoring devices.


Create dashboards and reporting tools for real-time stock visibility, aging, and traceability.


Ensure proper data logging for audits, food safety compliance, and traceability (e.g. batch/lot control).


Provide internal support and training for end users within the operations and warehouse teams.


Work closely with warehouse, logistics, and procurement teams to understand operational needs.

Requirements

Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or C#.


Experience with database systems (e.g., SQL, PostgreSQL, or similar).


Familiarity with warehouse/inventory management systems or supply chain applications.


Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently on full-stack projects.


Ability to design user-friendly interfaces and reporting tools for non-technical users.

Bonus Skills (Not Required but Advantageous)

Experience in logistics, warehousing, or food distribution environments.


Knowledge of barcode or RFID systems and IoT device integrations.


Understanding of traceability and food safety requirements (e.g., FIFO, HACCP logging).


Previous work with WMS system or inventory platforms.
