About Us:
Vector InfoTech is a forward-thinking organisation building AI-powered solutions using advanced large language models (LLMs) like Llama 4 and DeepSeek. Were seeking interns to tackle high-impact projects, with a focus on deploying LLMs to solve real-world challenges in HR, finance, and operations.
Internship Overview:
Interns will work exclusively on one project for the duration of the internship, ensuring deep engagement and ownership. Youll collaborate with AI engineers and business stakeholders to design, develop, and deploy LLM-integrated systems.
Projects and Responsibilities
#1. AI-Powered Knowledge/Data Hub for HR
Objective: Build a centralized HR platform with LLM-driven semantic search (using Llama 4/DeepSeek) for policies, FAQs, and employee data.
Key Tasks:

• Design a vector database (e.g., MongoDB, ArgoDB) for LLM-powered retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).
• Fine-tune Llama 4/DeepSeek models for HR-specific Q&A and document summarization.
• Develop a secure web interface (eg. React + FastAPI) with role-based access control.

#2. Financial Report Consolidation with LLM Automation
Objective: Automate extraction and standardization of financial data (PDFs, Excel) using LLM agents (DeepSeek/Llama 4).
Key Tasks:

• Build pipelines to parse tables/text from diverse formats using LLM-based tools (e.g., unstructured.io, Llama Index).
• Train custom models for entity recognition (e.g., invoice numbers, dates) with Llama 4.
• Create a unified dashboard (Plotly, Streamlit) for financial analytics.

Minimum Technical Requirements
Core Skills:

• Python/JavaScript, REST APIs, and SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Experience with LLM frameworks (LangChain, Llama Index) and model fine-tuning.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and containerization (Docker).

Preferred:

• Hands-on experience with Llama 4, DeepSeek, or similar open-source LLMs.
• Knowledge of vector databases, RAG, or LLM agent design.
• Understanding of data privacy (GDPR, SOC 2).
