A forward-thinking technology and engineering firm is seeking a Computer Vision Engineer to join its expanding Singapore team. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of innovation, developing intelligent vision systems that drive precision, automation, and quality in advanced manufacturing environments. Your work will directly impact operational efficiency, product yield, and technological advancement.
Responsibilities
In this position, you will design, develop, and optimize vision algorithms for defect detection, feature recognition, and automation in manufacturing settings. You will implement deep learning models to enable high-speed and high-accuracy inspection processes and integrate these systems with robotics and automation platforms. Your work will also involve refining image processing techniques for pattern recognition and quality control, collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance real-time inspection capabilities, and conducting data analysis and model validation to ensure robust system performance.
Requirements
You should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or STEM. You should have strong knowledge and experience in computer vision, image processing, and machine learning, along with proficiency in Python, C++, OpenCV, TensorFlow, or PyTorch. Familiarity with deep learning architectures such as CNNs, GANs, or Transformers is highly desirable. Additional knowledge of real-time processing, embedded systems, and hardware acceleration technologies will be considered a strong advantage.
