Join a cutting-edge team at the intersection of artificial intelligence and healthcare. As a Computing Science Intern, you'll develop and implement advanced AI algorithms to analyse medical images, improve diagnostic accuracy, and support clinical decision-making.


Key Responsibilities

Contribute to the design, development, and testing of MedClarity's software modules. Assist in developing and refining AI/ML models for cardiac CT image analysis. Support data preprocessing, annotation, and pipeline optimization for imaging datasets. Perform software verification and validation testing in alignment with medical device standards (ISO 13485, IEC 62304). Collaborate with team members on debugging, code reviews, and performance optimization. Prepare technical documentation to support regulatory submissions and internal processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or related field. Proficiency in Python (experience with libraries such as NumPy, pandas, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or OpenCV is a plus). Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git). Understanding of machine learning, computer vision, or medical imaging concepts is advantageous. Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills. Familiarity with human anatomy, image processing techniques, and medical imaging modalities (a plus). Exposure to federated learning, explainable AI, or regulatory frameworks (e.g., FDA, CE) is advantageous. Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a bonus.

Must be able to commit for at least 8 months.
