Port To Port Immigration Services is a licensed international recruitment and immigration agency that screen applicants for trade experience and immigration eligibility. We are searching for CONCRETE FINISHERS for work in Canada. Please read the information below carefully and ONLY apply if you meet the criteria! :
- Smooth and finish freshly poured concrete
- Apply curing or surface treatments
- Install, maintain and restore various masonry structures such as foundations, floors, ceilings, sidewalks, roads, patios and highrise buildings.
- Check formwork, granular base and steel reinforcement materials and direct placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to grade
- Fill hollows and remove high spots to smooth freshly poured concrete
- Operate power vibrator to compact concrete
- Level top surface of concrete according to grade and depth specifications using straightedge or float
- Impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools
- Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills and other fixtures in freshly poured concrete
- Apply hardening and sealing compounds to cure surface of concrete
- Waterproof, damp-proof and restore concrete surfaces
- Repair, resurface and replace worn or damaged sections of floors, walls, roads and other concrete structures.
- Applicants resumes are reviewed for relevant experience.
- Candidate provides migration documents.
- Candidate receives first interview.
- Successful candidates will then have an Immigration specific interview
- Upon completion of the above steps, candidates will be shortlisted for Canadian jobs.
Visa Type: Closed work permit only. Eligible candidates can undergo a permanent residency assessment after 1560 hours of service (English or French and high school leaving diploma is generally mandatory). Legally, recruitment fees cannot be charged to the candidate. Immigration/Work Permit fee will be invoiced once you accepted a job offer from an employer.
