The Finance Manager (Consolidation) will be responsible for monthly consolidation and financial reporting for NCS Group and sub-groups, including reviewing intercompany reconciliations and resolving transaction differences, reviewing financial and non-financial data relating to the group consolidation and participating in reviewing of monthly closing of NCS companies, which forms the basis for both management and statutory reporting requirement. He/ She is also responsible to implement changes to processes/operations and be involved in financial reporting systems improvements projects/ automation.

Responsibilities

• Manage the consolidation reporting process, including accounting for acquisition and divestment of subsidiaries and investments, resolving intercompany mismatched balances and transactions
• Ensure entities complete their submissions accurately and timely
• Prepare consolidated financial statements and its analysis, including liaison with entities on monthly reporting, reconciliation and analysis of monthly management accounts
• Prepare monthly consolidated cash flow statements and analysis
• Prepare audited financial statements of the Group and subsidiaries
• Liaison with local and overseas finance teams to provide guidance and advice on new accounting and Group policy requirement
• Ensure compliance with local statutory requirement and accounting standards and adherence to tight timelines
• Maintenance of consolidation system and chart of accounts
• Assist in divestments of subsidiaries and investments
• Act as change agent to implement changes to processes/operations and be involved in financial reporting systems improvements projects/ automation
• Support and coordinate with entities within the Group in reviewing and enhancing reporting processes and procedures
• Act as key contact for external auditors

The Ideal Candidate Should Possess

• Bachelor\'s Degree in Accounting, ACCA/ CA Professional Certification preferred
• Min. 3 years of relevant experience in Consolidation and Financial Reporting
• Previous work experience in Big 4 audit firms and listed companies are preferred
• Technically competent in complex consolidation
• Knowledgeable in SFRS (I)
• Good working knowledge of SAP and BPC is an advantage
• Creative thinker with strong interpersonal and communications skills
• Meticulous, proactive, results oriented, hands-on and able to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
