Job Description


:\xc2\xb7 Assists to formulate, implement and review plans for the development of GROs and thecommunity.\xc2\xb7 Attends monthly meetings of the GROs assigned and takes follow -up actions.\xc2\xb7 Acts as a catalyst to encourage and assist the GROs to plan and implement community projects.\xc2\xb7 Provides administrati ve and logistical support and guidance to the GROs to facilitate effectiveimplementation of their activities.\xc2\xb7 Co-ordinates the recruitment, appointment and reappointment of members of the GROs.\xc2\xb7 Explains government policies, facilitates discussion and channels feedback to appropriate parties.\xc2\xb7 Mobilises residents to participate in national campaigns and projects\xc2\xb7 Assists to submit progress reports on the GROs, provide feedback and recommend changes andimprovements, thereby facilitating communication and co-ordination.\xc2\xb7 Assists to supervise and guide staff in the Constituency Office.\xc2\xb7 Initiates marketing/promotion efforts to develop and promote CC programmes to meet targets set.- Assists Constituency Managers in organising community outreach and projects- Provides information and handles enquiries on CC services to the general public.- Promotes CC membership scheme/activities/courses/eventsAdministration\xc2\xb7 Ensures the proper accounting and cash management of the GROs.\xc2\xb7 Monitors the budgetary requirements and expenditure controls of the GROs.\xc2\xb7 Ensures timely preparation of monthly and yearly statements of accounts of CC -based committeesfor the committees\xe2\x80\x99 endorsement.\xc2\xb7 Ensures the Treasurer of the non CC-based committees carry out timely preparation, approval andsubmission as required of monthly and yearly statements of accounts.Business Development\xc2\xb7 Reviews and evaluates the relevance of all CC courses in meeting the recreational, social andeducational needs of the residents. Submits evaluation reports and findings to committees on aregular basis.\xc2\xb7 Plans and designs marketing strategies to develop and promote CC courses.\xc2\xb7 Identifies and builds positive working relationships with external parties to promote interesting andnovel courses and programmes at the CC.\xc2\xb7 Provides supervision and guidance to the Constituency Support Officers to facilitate effectiveimplementation of their courses and the day -to-day operati ons at the counter.\xc2\xb7 Supervises Constituency Support Officers in handling feedback, complaints and enquiries of publicprofessionally.\xc2\xb7 Supervises and guides the staff in administering the Community Centre/Club Management Systemto maintain the membership/facilities and courses data.Operations\xc2\xb7 Coordinates with Facility Manager/Facility Executive from Logistic Works Division to work withManaging Agent (MA) to upkeep the facility of the CC.\xc2\xb7 Oversees the maintenance, security and housekeeping (cleaning, pest control and horti cultureservices) of CC.\xc2\xb7 Coordinates among the CC Management Committ ee, Co -users of CC, MA and PA HQ for all worksand services carry out in the CC building.\xc2\xb7 Ensures MA\xe2\x80\x99s service standards are met.\xc2\xb7 Conduct inspections daily to ensure that the CC is clean and feedback on the defects of CCs atregular intervals to ensure established standards are met.\xc2\xb7 Follow up on replies, reminders, and queries on MA/maintenance matters, which are outstandingand requiring acti ons/confi rmation.\xc2\xb7 Performs any other matters related to the housekeeping, security, and maintenance of CCs.\xc2\xb7 Attends regular meeting to ensure MA\xe2\x80\x99s service standards are met.Working Arrangement:Contract Durati on: 6 Months (1 Oct 2024 \xe2\x80\x93 31 Mar 2025)Working Hours: 5 Day (flexible) work week (4 weekdays 1 weekend)Locati on: TampinesSalary: $3000-$3300/MonthJob Requirements:1) Takes interest in own and others\xe2\x80\x99 growth and development, encouraging change and lifelonglearning2) Is a positive source of energy and encouragement for the team3) Gives appropriate praise and helpful feedback and acknowledgement
