Job Description

Our client is an established M&E Engineering company in Singapore. They are looking for a Construction Manager to assess all aspects of the project, from planning and budgeting to on-site supervision and ensure compliance with regulations. They manage the project's schedule, budget, and resources, coordinating with various stakeholders to deliver a completed building on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

Developing detailed construction plans, schedules, and budgets, and ensuring the project stays on track. Managing and coordinating all construction activities, including supervising subcontractors, engineers, architects, and other professionals. Ensuring that construction work meets all relevant standards and regulations, including safety and building codes. Managing resources such as labour, materials, and equipment, ensuring they are available when needed. Monitoring project costs, identifying potential cost overruns, and negotiating with subcontractors to stay within budget. Maintaining clear communication with clients, engineers, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. Identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies to minimize delays and cost overruns. Addressing any issues or deviations that arise on-site, ensuring prompt resolution. Preparing reports on project progress, costs, and other relevant information. Ensuring a safe work environment for all personnel.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering 8 to 10 years of experience in the construction industry, preferably large-scale building projects (Data Centre, Medical Centre, Mixed-Development &/or Commercial building). Experienced working as a Construction Manager and/or Project Manager handle site. Experienced and strong in site management and people management. Good communication skill.
