Job Description

• Supervise and lead the construction team to lay down construction milestone.

• Manage construction activities, ensuring timely and smooth progress of the operations.

• Responsible for implementing the work plan and attending project meetings

• Resolve design site problems encountered during the construction period.

• Producing site progress report to management.

• Monitor and ensure sub-contractors comply with specified requirements.

• Identify and comply with all applicable statutory / regulatory requirements related to project.

• Coordination and sequencing of works of different sub-contractors.

• Identify possible risks to project and stakeholders as well as create contingency plans to mitigate these risks.

• Respond swiftly to work delays, emergencies and other problems.

• Clear communication to external parties including client, sub-contractors, consultant, vendor etc on project needs, requirements and schedule by means of daily construction oversight.
  

• Minimum experience of 10-15 years as a high level management of sub-contractors and suppliers and all internal and external interfaces.

• Preferably have 10 years experience in supervising of foundation work including driven and bored piles.

• Preferably have 10 years experience in supervising deep excavation and lateral support works.

• Preferably have 10 years experience in supervising and co-ordination of architectural and building work finishes.

• Hold suitable qualification in Civil and Building Engineering. Strong leadership, communication and negotiation skills.

• Demonstrate high level of integrity, professionalism, and technical competency.

• Critical part planning, strategic planning, timeline management, multi-tasking.

• Candidate with less experience will be considered as Assist Construction Manager.
