Job Description


DIAP is currently executing the SBM II pipe line rejuvenation project and currently has an open position for Construction Manager (Dredging and Rock Backfill works):

Responsibilities:

  • Identify the skills and resources required to successfully deliver the project
  • Ensure quality is of a consistently high level and pro-actively identify quality issues
  • Prepare and review the project sustainability objectives and targets ensuring compliance with the Company standards and local regulatory requirements
  • Manage a number of subcontractor packages within Operations scope
  • Monitor and report progress and quality of the works
  • Participate and report during budget reviews covering own department
  • Lead approximately 10 staff and 5 main construction vessels, involving around 200 crew
Requirements:
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications/Diploma in Engineering or a related technical discipline (or equivalent knowledge and experience)
  • With minimum 10 years experience in dredging industry in same function
  • Have minimum 5 years of experience working for Oil and Gas related construction project
  • Possess high HSE DNA skills as to drive and lead HSE performance within department and on site
  • Have contractual knowledge as to work on and implement contracts / subcontracts
  • Have high people skills as to lead a versatile, multinational team of staff and crew
  • Be fully skilled in Microsoft office software as to lead meetings and presentations with Clients
  • Be fully proficient in English language (reading / writing / speaking)
