Liaise with various parties, such as other project teams, contractors, consultants,designers, architects and to ensure the construction works are executed in accordance with the contract specification. Reinforce and practice of environmental, safety and health standards required for the project. Provide technical advice including safety related issues. Ensure all personnel under reporting line comply with company policies and procedures. Others ad-hoc tasks as assigned. Requirements: Degree in Civil Engineering recognised by the PE Board or equivalent. Minimum 12 years of construction experience particularly in civil projects, of which 10 years shall be in managing the construction of mega projects of substantial value and complexity in main contractor capacity. Must Possess good construction project flow knowledge. Good human relation skills and ability to work effectively at all levels of the organization and with external customers and suppliers. Problem solving mind-set. Experience of successfully managing engineering/construction teams. Effective time management and logical decision-making ability. Capacity to handle pressure. 6 days work week and ability to work on weekends if needs arise.
