We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our project team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all costs relating to building and civil engineering projects, from initial calculations to final accounts. This role requires a strong understanding of construction processes, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders.
Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for tender submissions and ongoing projects.
Conduct quantity take-offs from architectural and engineering drawings.
Prepare and manage contractual documents.
Assess, verify, and process progress claims. Manage variation orders (VOs)
Prepare and submit monthly cost reports and maintain accurate project documentation.
Liaise closely with clients and site teams on all commercial and contractual matters.
Requirements:
Master's / Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
Ability to work on site, strong communication and interpersonal skills on site.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Attend site meetings and conduct site measurements as required
Proficient in relevant software (e.g., AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving and negotiation skills.
