Job description 1) Manage and execute engineering consultancy projects related to building assessment for diagnosis and conservation purpose, specifically related to civil and structural engineering.
2) Carry out site/building investigation work, site testing, visual inspection & non-destructive testing. Assessment of structural integrity of structures.
3) Heritage conservation involving architectural and structural aspects. Carry out investigation and assessment to propose conservation strategies and methods.
4) Consolidation of results, technical report writing and presentation. Qualifications & Pre-requisites 1) Bachelor/Master Degree or Diploma in e, Civil Engineering, Building Engineering and other related field
2) Knowledge of building technology, architectural materials and construction processes are required.
3) Familiar with building components and materials, building services, civil engineering structures etc.
4) Experience with Non-destructive testing methods (infra red thermography, ultrasonic pulse echo, ground penetrating radar etc), geophysics would be advantageous.
