Our client is a Japanese IT consulting firm, currently hiring a Consultant who will be lead the project for the Financial/Banking sector.
【 What you will be doing 】
1. Leader of Market Area tasks
The market area includes the sub-areas of foreign exchange, funds, fixed income and derivatives trading with customers and banks. The tasks we have to handle are UAT, user training, creation of Head-Office and Internal Operation Procedure (HOP/IOP), Business Contingency Plan (BCP), customer relations, and business and data migration (These are called “User Tasks”). You will lead one or more of these user tasks in these sub-areas.
Creating documents for project promotion and discussion.
For UAT, user training, leading sufficient tests, creating clear and understandable training materials based on understanding of the requirements and specifications of the new business process and system.
For HOP/IOP, BCP, suggesting additions to existing ones, identifying changes, and creating new HOP/IOP, BCP. For customer relations, identifying changes from the customer's point of view and informing the customer sufficient change.
For business migration, determining sufficient tasks and creating schedule to migrate to the new business, and lead a series of tasks including business testing, rehearsal and production migration. For data migration, define the data required to be migrated to the new system and create a set of policies to convert the data into a format that is compatible with the new system.
2. Person in Charge of the migration task
Defining the sources of the data required for the new system for data migration. Carrying out a series of tasks to collect, map and convert the required data. Work with users and system administrators to obtain the information required for the data migration.
3. Management report
Create management report of own task written in English.
Update progress, organize key issues and risks to local managements, facilitate some meetings.
Requirement
【 What they are looking for 】
Minimum Degree
At least 5 years of experience in the banking sector and/or consulting business.
At least 3 years of experience in IT-related projects.
Proficient in Mandarin to liaise with internal/external counterparts.
Good communication/documentation skills.
Highly preferred to have more experience in FX/Money Market/Treasury & Marks area.
Preferred to have more than 2-year PMO experience in the IT-related project.
Preferred to have experience of the global system rollout.
Able to start in short notice/immediate is highly preferred!
