Woodlands Health is Singapore\'s latest public healthcare institution and provides care to residents in northwest Singapore. The Campus features a fully integrated acute and community hospital, specialist outpatient clinics, intermediate and long-term care facilities, and green healing spaces. We offer a range of acute, sub-acute, rehabilitative and transitional care services, working closely with our partners to provide seamless care within and beyond our Campus. When fully open, Woodlands Health will operate 1400 beds across 3 care settings.Woodlands Health is a member of the National Healthcare Group; which provides care through an integrated network of primary care polyclinics, acute care and tertiary hospitals and national specialty centres to one third of Singapore\'s population. Clinicians within NHG are actively engaged in Clinical Research and Education through affiliations with Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine and Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine.We are committed to supporting our staff\'s professional development; and opportunities will be provided to those who aspire to excel in the fields of Clinical Research and Education.Consultant Ophthalmologist (Oculoplastics)The candidate should demonstrate good teamwork and communication skills, strong working knowledge of Comprehensive Ophthalmology and Oculoplastics, and a commitment to quality improvement. You will lead the team in your specialty area and work closely with fellow healthcare professionals in providing holistic care to patients. In addition to patient care management, you are expected to provide guidance, teaching and training to all level of staff. You may also be involved in intra- and interdepartmental projects and committees and any other tasks as assigned by the Head of Department.RequirementsA basic medical degree and a postgraduate qualification (eg. FRCOphth, FCOphth, FRCSEd) which is registrable with the Singapore Medical Council.
