What the day will look like
As a Consultant in the Data Solutions team, you will lead client engagements across the Financial Services sector, delivering high-impact advisory and data-driven solutions. You will take full ownership of project delivery, manage cross-functional teams, and serve as a trusted advisor to clients. This role demands strategic thinking, strong project management capabilities, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.

• Client Advisory & Relationship Management

• Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, building long-term relationships and ensuring high satisfaction and retention.
• Lead strategic conversations with clients to see opportunities for advisory services beyond data products, including total rewards, incentive design, and organizational benchmarking.

• Project Leadership & Delivery

• Independently run end-to-end delivery of advisory and data projects, including scoping, planning, execution, and reporting.
• Coordinate internal resources and stakeholders to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables.
• Develop project plans and manage modules with minimal oversight, ensuring alignment with client expectations and internal standards.

• Product & Market Strategy

• Contribute to the strategic development of industry-specific survey products and data offerings.
• Conduct market research to identify trends, segment clients, and inform product positioning and sales strategies.

• Data Analysis & Solution Design

• Lead the design and delivery of bespoke solutions, including incentive compensation analysis, salary structure design, and regulatory reviews.
• Translate complex datasets into clear, actionable insights for clients and internal stakeholders.

• Thought Leadership & Content Development

• Draft and present proposals, reports, and presentations that reflect deep industry knowledge and client-specific recommendations.
• Facilitate client workshops and webinars to share market trends and best standards.

• Team Collaboration & Mentorship

• Guide junior colleagues in project execution and methodology.
• Share expertise across the Talent Solutions team to foster continuous learning and innovation.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

• With 7-8 years of experience in human resources consulting, compensation survey management, or client advisory roles, preferably within Financial Services.
• With proven track record in leading projects independently, managing stakeholders, and delivering high-quality outcomes within timelines.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel (macros preferred), PowerPoint, and Word; familiarity with Access is a plus.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Experience in drafting RFPs and contributing to cross-practice proposals is an advantage.
