Consultants (Nutrition)/ Manager (Nutrition)

The Person:

Minimum

Diploma in Food Science and Nutrition OR Food Science and Technology; OR a Diploma in Nutrition and/or Dietetics

. Minimum of TWO (2) years of relevant working experience. Those with a

degree

and more than

5 years

of experience will be considered for

managerial positions.

Proficient knowledge of Microsoft programmes (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Good customer service, communications, engagement, project management, and time management skills. Please state whether you have the following too: WSQ Food Labelling Good Practices certificate, experience in Data management systems and/ or experience in grant processing work.

The Roles and Responsibilities include:

Evaluate the suitability of the F&B product to carry the HCS logo and classify the product under the correct category. This includes conducting checks on the product's website, and/or social media platform(s), if any. Evaluate HCS applications based on the relevant food or beverage category, by comparing nutritional composition of the product with HCS guidelines. Evaluate packaging artwork that bears the HCS logo, according to HPB's messages, guidelines, and SFA Food Regulations. Identify all areas that need clarification or amendments in the first assessment and ensure all areas are addressed. Follow the established multi-tier review system, with assessments documented through the designated review process.
