Since 2017, we've journeyed across Singapore and beyond to uncover everything from the origins of local childhood treats to no-holds-barred conversations with persons with disabilities - and we've barely scratched the surface. Treading the thin line between old and new, between classic and contemporary, we present overlooked narratives that are timeless, nostalgic, and yet able to spark a sense of delight. The Content Creator will create custom content for Our Grandfather Story's verticals and related social platforms. We're seeking a creative-minded content creator who is interested in creating short-form social media content, across Tiktok, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube. The ideal candidate is interested in learning every part of the creative process: generating ideas for a variety of formats, shooting, editing and publishing. Candidates should also be proactive workers who are motivated and independent. Responsibilities: Social Media native, familiarity with Instagram, Tiktok, Facebook, YouTube, as well as curiosity in up and coming social media platforms Awareness of social media trends Produce, shoot and edit videos for social media publications Research and pitch relevant content ideas for production Handle uploads through our Tiktok, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube publishing processes Write social copies for publication Misc. grip work, production assistance and shooting in studio or on location Assist with file management, footage and assets organisation Requirements: Familiar with Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop (After Effects is a plus) Ability to shape a story through editing Experience with camera handling Interest in telling local stories, documentaries and explainers Detail oriented and organised Ability to meet deadlines Team player with a positive attitude and good work ethic
