Job Description

The Singapore headquarters of one of the world's largest banks is looking for a Content Strategist. Hire Digital is leading the efforts to launch a major content hub for Singapore audiences in 2023 for the financial institution. This is a freelance, remote position with a minimum commitment of between 10-20 hours per week. The rate for this role is between SGD 50 - 150/hour based on skill and experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Brainstorm and draft monthly and annual content strategy and calendar with the client and a team of writers.
• Draft, edit, and submit briefs for client approval.
• Consider SEO needs while ensuring content is on-brand and creative.
• Gather requirements and manage stakeholders throughout the content lifecycle.
• Write or re-write articles as an individual contributor from time to time.
• Review the performance of the content every month and create reports. Issue a retrospective reflection and chart next month's steps to increase content performance.

• Previous experience writing consumer finance and personal finance articles.
• Hands-on experience in formulating an engaging and creative content strategy.
• Experience in being part of a digital, high-volume publication for a Singaporean and/or Malaysian audience.
• Experience as an editor and manager of a team of writers. You should have written briefs, edited drafts, and coached brand guidelines on writers.
• Preferably with basic SEO knowledge and the ability to balance creative vs SEO requirements.
• Previous background as a non-editorial, finance professional is an added advantage.
