You'll work with our writers and creatives to ensure that our content is an engaging read/watch across multiple touchpoints, geared to the intended target market and on-your-strategy. You'll provide inspiration and stimuli that will give way to content ideas that aid in changing behaviours, shifting perceptions, rallies communities and generate brand affinity. Your team: McCann Worldgroup Singapore Public Sector Practice is a communications practice committed to driving behavioral transformation that have a significant positive impact on society. We provide policymakers, communicators and leaders in public institutions and NGOs with tailored insights, tools & campaigns to address critical national and societal challenges and improve the lives of the citizens they serve. We work end-to-end-from diagnosis to delivery of campaigns across diverse verticals from finance, social capital, public health to citizen experiences. What you'll be doing: . Own all aspects of content strategy, from research, analysis and strategic planning to the ongoing creation, optimisation, and governance of content that authentically speaks to the consumer, in a style and tone that are both warm and informative, tapping on cultural, behavioural and channel insights. . Work with data stakeholders to inform and validate your content strategy, measure, track and report on success metrics to enable continuous optimisation. . Develop content briefs and calendars - editorial angles and outlines for creatives to produce a rich and varied collection of stories tap into trending topics and conversations that will boost brand credibility and visibility. . Develop content strategic frameworks that sets the role of content, pillars, editorial angles and spans the right mix of discipline content, evergreen content and hero content. . Collaborate with other strategists (Brand and Comms, Social & Influence, UX/UI) to arrive at content types tailored to each platform's needs - from reports, thought leadership, human interest features, educational listicles and infographics. . Planning the distribution of content through paid, owned and earned media. . Defining writing requirements for SEO, Content Marketing, Social Media Marketing, E-mail Marketing and PPC Marketing. . Copyediting, proofreading and refining content outputs to ensure that it follows intended style guides and editorial tone of voice. . Implement strategic workshops together with other strategists across other disciplines. What you'll get: . Cross-discipline, collaborative, nurturing team to work with. What we're looking out for: . 1 - 2 years of experience in Content/Editing/Marketing Communications/Journalism related positions. . Preferably with an educational background onCommunications/ Journalism/ English or related disciplines. . Editorial versatility to write/guide a range of content format needs (reports, editorials, online articles, social media platforms), categories and topics. . Ability to be insightful, creative, objective, interesting and succinct across a range of writing styles. . Familiarity with Singapore's content and editorial landscape is advantageous. . Detail-oriented, highly proficient with research and interviews. . Expertise in web, corporate, and Chicago style guides, plus superior command of standard British English . Proven knowledge of content publishing and optimisation for SEO and Social Media, CRM and Native.
