We are hiring Contract Senior Accoutant (1 Year Contract) to be outsourced to our client from a renowned Chemical MNC. Candidates who have interest in the chemical industry and are seeking to be a part of a global MNC, apply now!

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible to ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close in accordance with the organisation\'s Policy, US GAAP as well as local GAAP.
• Support the general ledger team to ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met.
• Ensure the timely reporting of all monthly financial information requested by Regional and Corporate office.
• Review and rectify inter-companies reconciliations.
• Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of the business and general ledger structure.
• Maintain Fixed Asset Registrar for all entities including assets under constructions to capitalizing of assets in compliance with the company\'s Fixed Assets policy.
• Review journal entries prepared by team members.
• Review the monthly reconciliations to ensure they are performed in a timely and accurate manner.
• Work with the Financial Controller to lead, plan, coordinate, execute and complete timely year end audit (both external and internal audit), as well as tax filings.
• Collaborates with the other finance functional leads to support overall department goals and objectives.
• Responds to inquiries from other Divisions regarding financial results, special reporting requests and details drill down to transactional lines as required.
• Support Financial Controller with special projects and workflow process improvements.
• Support Financial Controller with the roll out of new Accounting Standards/internal controls training, as required.
• Any other ad-hoc task and special project that will be assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Min. ACCA or Degree in Accountancy from a recognized university or its equivalent
• At least 5 years recent audit working experience in similar capacity
• Good working knowledge of SAP, Accpac and HFM
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management and external agencies to maximize performance, creativity, problem solving and results
• Well-organized and possess good interpersonal skills
• Ability to multi-task and work under tight datelines
• Good communication skills
• Company transport pick up from: Boon Lay, Jurong East, CCK Outram and Bedok.
• Hybrid work arrangement (2 days WFH)
• Able to commit to a 1 year contract
