[What the role is]

Design Orchard Retail Showcase

  • Handle financial payments and checks
1. Utilities to SP
2. Aircon payment to JTC
3. Monthly sales reconciliation reports
4. Half yearly audit checks
  • Oversee SFC in the running of the Showcase
1. Day-to-day operations and maintenance plans
2. Update asset list and conduct asset tagging
3. Liaising with JTC on fit-out issues faced by SFC
4. Visual merchandising refresh
5. Quarterly Asset Management inspections and reporting
6. Annual renewal of electrical license
  • Provide marketing support
1. Street banners allocation and facilitation of permits/approvals
2. Coordinate with MG/Comms on marketing and PR-related matters on Design Orchard
  • Coordinating with other agencies, e.g. JTC for building and rooftop events Space matters
  • Schedule bi-weekly meetings, prepare agenda and writing of minutes of meetings
  • Provide general administrative support
Ad-hoc Projects and Administration
  • Administration and claims disbursement for existing Grants
  • Update Retail Repository for marketing usage
  • Collate monthly product and event updates for MG and ROs
  • Assist with deals, tactical marketing activations and SingapoRewards (where necessary)
  • Quarterly business sensing for reporting
  • Tracking and reporting of Retail success matrices and targets
  • General stakeholder facilitation for street banner applications
  • Research for briefs and strategy reviews
This position is a 11 months (non-renewal) contract role.

[What you will be working on]

The officer will work mainly on the following areas under the Retail team.

Design Orchard Retail Showcase:
  • Handle financial payments and checks
  • Oversee operator, Singapore Fashion Council (SFC) and their running of the showcase
  • Provide marketing support and coordination
  • Co-ordination with other agencies
  • Scheduling of bi-weekly meetings, agenda and writing notes of meetings
  • Provide general administrative support
Other ad-hoc retail projects, administration and budget monitoring

[What we are looking for]
  • Strong verbal and writing communication skills
  • Able to follow-up on tasks in a timely manner
  • Meticulous worker that is comfortable navigating Excel sheets and data
  • Able to juggle different responsibilities and portfolios
  • Comfortable working independently and building relationships with multiple retail stakeholders, helping them navigate and understand the processes for street-banner applications, grant claims etc.
