Job Description


Job Summary:

The events associate oversees the planning and execution of meetings, conferences, and special events. They handle multiple projects simultaneously, acting as the main planning contact for each department. Additionally, they manage internal communications, project planning, website development, budget management and final program costings.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all events processes and matters. This includes, but not limited to managing the events calendar, collation of information/data, working with the event owners on scheduling events, reporting and analysis of the events.
  • Facilitate and oversee program data management process, data integrity and reporting. Ensure data reconciliation is complete and accurate.
  • Website development/maintenance of the events portal
Requirements:
  • A minimum of one to three years of relevant working experience in events is required for this position.
  • Experienced in financial and budgeting principles to create a comprehensive spreadsheet on the events.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • A meticulous individual with strong time management and organisation skills
  • Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail
  • A self-starter who can work independently and collaboratively with a positive mindset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications, e.g. Word, Excel, Powerautomate, etc.
  • Proficiency in Workday.
