Introduction

We are looking for a mid-level Legal Counsel with 5 to 10 years of post-qualification experience to support Trip.Biz's global operations across the SEA region. Based in Singapore, you will play a key role in contract negotiation, compliance support, and regional stakeholder engagement. You will also act as a bridge between our Singapore partnership team and our HQ legal & finance department.
This role is well suited for a commercially minded professional who thrives in a fast-paced, cross-cultural environment and is motivated to grow into a senior leadership capacity over time.



In this Role, you'll get to

Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts including TMC agreements, client contracts, supplier agreements, and technology integrations Provide legal and compliance support in SEA markets, with an emphasis on regulation and business related, in coordination with HQ legal colleagues Support business development teams and partnership managers in client and partner discussions, ensuring contracts and terms are clear and aligned with business objectives Act as a liaison for the SEA commercial team with Trip.com Group HQ legal and finance teams, so as to facilitate effective cross-border communication Establish a standardized contract clause library and operational guidelines to enhance contract compliance and processing efficiency. Assist in resolving contract-related disputes and managing governance issues with partners Coordinate with external counsel for market specific legal advice when required

What you'll Need to Succeed

Degree in Business or Law with 5 to 10 years of post-qualification experience, with a mix of law firm training, involved in commercial discussion with sales team and preferably some in-house experience in technology, travel, or B2B services Strong experience in commercial contracting and cross-border transactions Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across different markets and cultures Proficiency in English is required; additional language skills such as Mandarin, Japanese, or Cantonese can be an advantage due to business reasons
