This is a fixed-term assignment of 5 months, starting from August - December.
Your Responsibilities

• Follow up with purchase and sales contracts, and handle contract execution.
• Communicate purchases planning & requirements to suppliers based on subsidiaries' needs
• Ensure shipments are fulfilled according to contractual requirements.
• Handle shipping documents such as Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, Cargo Insurance etc.
• File insurance claims for subsidiaries and get supporting docs from various stakeholders.
• Resolve shipment issues with team should problems arise.
• Arrange timely payment to suppliers & post invoices for month end closing.
• Assist with position risk reporting and liaise with regional colleagues to ensure timely submission.
• Proficient with MS Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTable), Powerpoint, Power BI to support team with data analysis & graphs.
• Support Procurement Director with data analysis, ad-hoc tasks.

Your Profile

• Bachelor Degree in international business, business administration, supply chain management or equivalent major
• A minimum of 2 -3 years of experience in import - export contract management, preferable in commodity or shipping lines industry experience
• Good knowledge of Incoterms
• Good communication, time management and planning to ensure smooth execution
• Good formal English written communication is a must to interact in technical/legal environment with suppliers
• Proficient in MS office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word, PowerBI)
