Responsibilities:
Lead/manage a team of Quantity Surveyors in the administration and review of procurement and contract management
Review contract documents and providing cost estimates on tenders
Prepare and monitor project cost budget, cash-flow for project, track changes in design/construction work, variations and adjust budget projections accordingly
Oversee and manage main contract progress claim and subcontract payment including variation claim
Resolving contract disputes and contract claims, assessing entitlement for extension of time and loss/expense claims
Review and interpret contract documents with recommendations for contractual dispute.
Lead team on preparation of monthly progress claim, evaluation and preparation of sub-contractors' claims and issuance of payment response within stipulated timeframe (SOP Act).
Able to independently lead/manage large scale project
Manage record keeping for all contract-related correspondences and documentations
Communicate contract-related information to all stakeholders
Ensure timely finalization of main contract and subcontract
Implement a proper Document Management System and effective filing system.
Coordinate jobs with team members, allocates tasks and provide effective supervision.
Provides leadership to team members ensuring effective resolution to issue arises.
Motivate team members on an ongoing basis to ensure good team work and enhancement of team spirit.
Develop good professional relationships with supplier, vendor, sub-contractors, client, consultants, and architects.
