Contractual Compliance Analyst

Job Description



Position Summary:
The Contractual Compliance Analyst\xe2\x80\x99s primary responsibility is to research and analyze data for ongoing and special projects, support staff in conducting contractual compliance audits, support staff in processing complaints and assist in developing metrics for various internal and external reports.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a complaint intake system and complaint processing activities
  • Lead and support monitoring activities, including processing complaints and reports received by ICANN
  • Support audit activities by preparing data and necessary documentation
  • Support investigation and enforcement activities
  • Monitor progress and escalate compliance action
  • Track and document compliance trending
  • Provide statistics and analysis of compliance data
  • Analyze data using basic statistical methods, interpret results and provide written summaries of data analyses
  • Follow-up with registries/registrars through various means to ensure compliance
  • Work constructively with registries/registrars to implement and complete corrective action plans
  • Recommend tool and process improvements
  • Other duties as assigned or requested
Essential Job Functions:
  • Understand the ICANN model and ICANN\xe2\x80\x99s overall missions and goals
  • Understand and develop necessary knowledge for the different compliance areas
  • Follow established processes and procedures in providing support for different compliance areas
  • Work cooperatively within the Contractual Compliance team and across ICANN organization to gather compliance related information for review and analysis.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs): (Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions)
  • Proficient with analytical tools (Excel, MySQL), knowledge of data analysis methodology, use of presentation software
  • Good verbal communication and time management skills
  • Ability to multi-task and to work independently
  • Must be well-organized, detail oriented, self-directed and be able to work within a team environment
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor\'s Degree required (majored in computer science, law or economics preferred)
  • Good analytical skills
  • Minimum 2 years related data analysis, complaint handling, contact management or compliance related experience
