Job Description

Analyse freight/cargo orders (weight, volume, destination, priority) to build efficient load plans. Optimise load consolidation: combine multiple shipments where possible, choose best routing and mode to reduce cost and maximise utilisation. Coordinate closely with internal teams (warehouse, dispatch, customer service, sales) and external carriers/trucking companies/freight forwarders to ensure smooth execution. Monitor load progress, troubleshoot issues (delays, capacity shortfalls, equipment availability) and communicate updates to stakeholders. Ensure compliance with transportation regulations, safety standards, and internal policies. Maintain accurate records and reporting: load metrics (utilisation, cost per ton/mile), exception logs, asset / trailer usage. Identify improvement opportunities: cost savings, better routing, asset utilisation, reduced empty miles, better capacity planning. Support day-to-day planning as well as longer term asset planning: aligning capacity with demand, driver availability, equipment pools.

Requirements

Proficient in air freight knowledge Strong communication and data analysis skills At least 5 years of experience in a similar role * Fluent in written, verbal communication in Chinese, to liaise with Mandarin-speaking counterparts in China
