We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Controllership Director to join our Asia Pacific Regional headquarters, leading the financial oversight of our Corporate Segment across APAC. This role offers significant opportunities to influence accounting policies, strengthen internal controls, and collaborate with diverse teams across the region. It's an ideal position for a driven professional eager to contribute to strategic decision-making and operational excellence in a global environment.

Key Responsibilities

Consolidation, Closing, and ReportingOversee the accurate and timely monthly consolidation, closing, and reporting of APAC Corporate Segment results to the Global team, ensuring adherence to deadlines and providing clear insights into financial performance.

Guide and support country finance teams in achieving timely and accurate book closures, fostering a culture of accountability and precision.

Develop comprehensive P&L and Balance Sheet commentary each month for submission to the Global team, highlighting key trends, risks, and opportunities.

Conduct thorough monthly reviews of balance sheet reconciliations for the Corporate Segment, ensuring compliance with global policies and identifying potential issues proactively.

Prepare and deliver insightful quarterly judgmental review commentary for global controllership, contributing to informed decision-making at the highest levels.



Leadership & Team ManagementLead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team within the Corporate Segment, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.



Stakeholder CollaborationCollaborate effectively with internal functions (HR, Tax, Treasury, Corporate Real Estate) and external auditors to streamline audit and reporting processes, ensuring efficient and compliant operations.

Coordinate seamlessly with global, local country, and JBS teams during close and consolidation activities, facilitating clear communication and alignment across all stakeholders.



Compliance & Internal ControlsEnsure strict compliance with US GAAP, regulatory requirements, and JLL internal policies, safeguarding the company's financial integrity and mitigating risks.



Process Improvement & AutomationIdentify, champion, and implement process improvements and automation initiatives to drive operational efficiencies, reduce manual effort, and enhance the accuracy of financial data.



Ad Hoc and Special ProjectsParticipate in and lead ad hoc projects aligned with business needs and transformation initiatives, providing financial expertise and contributing to strategic outcomes.
