About the Roles

This permanent position for a Cook (Central Kitchen) or Kitchen Assistant is based in Macpherson with a six-day workweek. The role offers a competitive package of

What You'll Be Doing

Prepare and cook menu items according to standard recipes and portions. Carry out cutting, portioning, and daily food preparation tasks. Maintain consistency in food quality, presentation, and taste. Uphold cleanliness and follow all food safety regulations in the kitchen. Assist in monitoring stock levels and conducting inventory checks. Coordinate with chefs and team members to ensure smooth daily operations. Support recipe testing and R&D initiatives when required. Handle additional duties assigned by supervisors or management.

What We're Looking For

One to two years of experience working in a central kitchen, catering setup, or restaurant. Fundamental skills in cooking and food preparation. Ability to perform well in a fast-moving and demanding environment. Willingness to work during peak periods, including weekends and public holidays.
