Job Description

Food preparation and cooking


Measure and prepare ingredients according to recipes. Cook food using various methods like grilling, frying, or steaming. Follow established menus and production standards. Check ingredients for freshness before and during preparation.
Kitchen maintenance and organization


Set up and maintain clean and organized workstations. Clean cooking stations, equipment, utensils, and dishes. Adhere to all kitchen hygiene and food safety standards. Properly store food items at appropriate temperatures. Dispose of waste properly.
Inventory and supplies


Monitor stock levels and report shortages. Assist in taking inventory and placing orders for new ingredients as needed. Rotate stock items to ensure the freshest ingredients are used first.
Collaboration and efficiency


Work with other kitchen staff to prepare meals efficiently. Communicate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service. * Follow instructions from the chef or management.
