Key Responsibilities



Prepare and cook Chinese vegetarian bee hoon, fried noodles, rice, and side dishes (e.g., fried food, vegetables, spring rolls, etc). Ensure food is cooked according to taste, texture, and presentation standards. Handle food preparation such as washing, cutting, frying, and portioning ingredients. Maintain stall cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards according to NEA requirements. Manage daily stock levels, check freshness of vegetables and ingredients, and assist in ordering supplies. Serve customers efficiently during peak hours, ensuring consistency in food quality and portioning. Work closely with stall assistants to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements



Experience in cooking Chinese vegetarian dishes, especially fried bee hoon, is preferred. Able to handle wok, deep fryer, and other kitchen equipment. Knowledge of vegetarian food ingredients (eg soya products) is an advantage. Physically fit, able to work in a fast-paced coffeeshop environment. Good hygiene practices and valid Food Hygiene Certificate (preferred). Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
