Time Type: Full Time Purpose of the Position Ensure a smooth, timely and effective capacity management and planning for the relevant assigned route in accordance to the defined strategy and standards.
Key Tasks

• Prepare monthly standard booking for all consol routes and monitor status

flow.

• Maintain a forecast of daily booking request with internal customer service

as well as implant staff.

• Monitor, coordinate and work closely with carriers on all standard booking

and make adjustments according to the shipment load within the committed time frame.

• Work with carrier for ad-hoc queries, rates/booking such as odd size cargo

or additional capacity.

• Optimization of the allocation with consol benefit to DSV’s interest

operationally and financially.

• Follow up with the carriers on the actual details of the shipment and

coordinate on the release of ULD to DSV warehouse for BUP shipments.

• Check and update CS/OS on the uplift status of the shipment.

• Attend to all customer service and sales enquiries via telephone, IM or

email.

• Propose alternative route and frequencies to CS with applicable routes and

transit time where necessary.

• To communicate and follow up with carrier/co-loaders for any irregularity’s

shipment.
Competencies

• Extensive Airfreight market and industry knowledge.

• Organizational planning skills with emphasis on priorities, assigning task

and having control.

• Commercially driven with the knowledge on how to manage routings as

well as local suppliers.

• Well versed in procurement and capacity management processes.

• Good negotiation and communicational skills.

• Assertive and flexible personality.

• Good command of language. (English/Chinese)

• Computer Literate with advance skillsets in MS Office.

• Cargowise One experience will be an added advantage.

• Strong leadership qualities with analytical problem-solving mindset.

• Ability to work with different cultures and to manage cross functional

interface.

• Capable to build strong and long-term relationships within and across

functions and geographical boundaries based on ethics and trust.

• Highly focused on adding value to the team. Being a team player.
