Company Summary
Our client is a leading financial institution in Singapore with an extensive branch network and a strong presence in SME services. They are now seeking a Core Banking Software Developer to support key banking systems and drive the development of secure, reliable, and high-performance applications.
Responsibilities:

• Design, enhance, and support C-based and Java applications used in core banking, ensuring systems remain secure, stable, and high-performing.
• Develop financial logic, data structures, and system interfaces to enable smooth system-to-system integration across banking operations.
• Adhere to regulatory guidelines, security standards, and internal compliance requirements throughout the development lifecycle.
• Perform rigorous testing, diagnostics, and debugging to quickly identify and resolve application issues.
• Produce clear, comprehensive technical documentation for all developed features and components.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Solid programming experience in C or Java, ideally within banking or financial system development.
• Proficient in:

• Unix/Linux operating environments
• Sybase, MSSQL, MySQL
• Eclipse IDE, Jasper, XML
• Microsoft Office tools
• Understanding of banking products such as Deposits and Loans is beneficial.
• Knowledge of secure coding techniques and strong awareness of data security principles.
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and effective problem-solving skills.
• Good communication abilities and comfortable working collaboratively with diverse teams.
