The field of Working Capital management has undergone significant changes in recent year, driven by various factors such technological advancements, changing consumer demands, evolving geopolitics and ever evolving client requirements.



Based in Singapore, this Director role will play a crucial role in driving the bank\xe2\x80\x99s strategy and initiatives related to working capital management. You will report locally to the Asia Pacific Head of Trade Finance and to the Global Head of Working Capital. You will be a senior member of the Working Capital Asia Pacific team and will have responsibility for:

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Drive innovation and continuous improvement of working capital products solutions. Stay abreast of market trends, regulatory changes and emerging technologies to ensure the bank remains at the forefront of working capital finance.
• Responsible to foster strategic partnerships with fintech companies along with identifying and evaluating potential fintech partners, negotiating terms and collaborate on joint initiatives to enhance the banks working capital offering.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive working capital strategy aligned with the bank\xe2\x80\x99s goals and market trends. Identify opportunities for growth and optimization within the working capital space.
• Responsible to establish and cultivate partnerships with multilateral organizations and local banks.
• Collaborate on initiatives that promote sustainable development, inclusivity and economic growth in emerging markets.
• Build strong relationships with key corporate clients, understanding their unique working capital needs and challenges to tailor solutions.
• Collaborate with relationship managers and other stakeholders to deliver tailored working capital solutions.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures and regulatory requirements related to working capital operations. Identify and mitigate potential risks with working capital facilities.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including risk management, operations, technology, and relationship management to ensure seamless end-to-end deliver of working capital solutions.
• Foster strong relationships with external partners, such as fintech companies, industry associations and regulatory bodies to stay informed of best practices and drive innovation.

Your Skills and Experience:

• 12 years or more experience in working capital management, supply chain finance or related field within the banking industry.
• In-depth knowledge of working capital products, trade finance, cash management and related financial instruments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex financial concepts into actionable strategies.
• Demonstrated ability to work with colleagues and stakeholders across functions and geographies.
• Experience managing diverse and geographically dispersed teams, with proven leadership success.
• Expert understanding of client behavior and business drivers across the APAC region.
• Strong culture carrier, with values fully aligned to those of the organization.

Role is required to be performed on-site at One Raffles Quay office. Relevant vaccination requirements may apply.
