Job Description


This person is responsible for helping to develop and implement effective internal and external communication programmes in support of the organization\'s vision and goals. Duties include the planning, development and implementation of a range of media relations, branding, corporate social responsibility and internal communication programmes.

Responsibilities:

Public Relations

  • As the B2B communications lead, the manager will work with various business units across the organization and also oversee Corporate and B2C PR initiatives to drive the organization\'s visibility in Singapore. Regionally, the manager will work in partnership to guide PR counterparts in the region to implement region wide campaigns and ensure that the organization is represented consistently as one voice across the region. The manager will also be required to work with Senior Management on executive messaging and profiling opportunities.
Corporate Branding
  • Strengthen the brand by raising its awareness and image in the region - increase visibility through advertising, events, sponsorship & corporate social responsibility initiatives.
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)
  • Develop and implement regular CSR activities with the organization\'s adopted beneficiaries
Internal Communications
  • Establish and implement initiatives to facilitate staff communications including content development for staff publications and the corporate intranet.
Planning
  • Assists in corporate development especially in the formulation of strategies, action plans and target tracking of projects.
  • Supports the forecasting and planning process for the organization.
  • Conduct research and business analysis on selected countries\' economic and political environment.
  • Performs market analysis such as market size, key drivers, trends, competition, etc., in order to evaluate market potential.
  • Assists in organizing and preparing group level meetings and events.
  • Coordination of various projects led by top management.
  • Development of corporate policies, guidelines as well as corporate strategies.
  • Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned relating to corporate planning.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor\'s Degree in Arts, Business, Mass Communications, Public Relations or related disciplines.
  • At least 10 years of relevant experience in corporate communications and preferably with experience in both B2B and B2C communications. Ideally, a passion for technology and understanding how it influences business and lifestyle.
  • Excellent communication skill.
  • Able to persuade and reason cogently; excellent writing and editing skills.
  • Good project management and event management skills.
  • Proactive, possessing the confidence and ability to manage and communicate effectively with varied internal stakeholders, the media as well as external agencies.
