Corporate Communications Executive

Summary
Reporting to the Corporate Communications Manager, the incumbent will play a key role in supporting and elevating CMA CGM brand through rolling out Singapore/APAC Group Communications Projects to support our Head Office/local initiatives across APAC.

The communications focus are Shipping/industry-related conferences and events (including Sustainability-related events but not limited to), where the incumbent will play a key role in identifying and co-ordinating speaking opportunities at conferences, identifying sponsorship opportunities, potential collaboration opportunities, etc. In addition, the incumbent will need to build rapport with industry stakeholders/ conference links, and to protect and augment our CMA-CGM brand.

Main responsibilities

  • Successfully plan (with your manager), organise and execute communications projects/campaigns in Singapore and APAC in Shipping/industry-related conferences and events (but not limited to) to promote the Company\'s brand and image
  • Identify internal communication opportunities (potentially external as well) to engage employees in APAC initiatives and their awareness of the company\'s development and key milestones
  • Collaborate with Head Office and Regional stakeholders to drive and implement communications initiatives in a timely manner
  • Build relations and act as a liaison between CMA CGM and industry stakeholders to explore relevant communication opportunities (e.g. events, media coverage opportunities, etc.)
  • Support Corporate Communications/ media\'s effort to highlight company\'s progress in sustainability, business excellence and award presentation
  • Keep abreast of the latest developments both internally and externally and how these opportunities could translate into potential corporate communications initiatives
  • Ad-hoc administrative duties to support the sustainability and communications work of APAC Regional Office
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelors in Communication studies / Corporate Communications or related studies
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of Corporate Communications experience
  • Passion and keen interest in Shipping/Supply Chain & Logistics industry and its evolution
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Independent, resourceful and possess strong commercial acumen to identify conferences/networking /media coverage opportunities
  • Strong social skills and EQ to network with internal/external stakeholders to get work done
**This role is opened for local employment only.
