Corporate Firmwide Employee Communications is an integral function at JPMorgan Chase, which focuses on reinforcing the firm\'s culture and keeping employees informed about its priorities and diverse businesses. Members of the team serve as trusted advisors to the firm\'s senior leaders and other communications managers across the company. The team oversees a variety of engagement channels and tools.

Job Summary:

Our Hong Kong and Singapore corporate centers are two of the firm\'s most critical strategic locations in the world. This role will be based in Singapore, and the successful candidate will have exposure & interactions with senior management and are required to have a thorough understanding of communications strategy, channels and the alignment to support these locations to communicate cross-line business initiatives.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Creating and delivering a robust communications and engagement plan to drive employee engagement and awareness of location-specific initiatives and site-wide updates to approximately 7,000 employees in Hong Kong and Singapore.
  • Developing, editing and publishing cross-line of business communications focused on people, site and community initiatives.
  • Working closely with leaders at all levels of the organization, including (but not limited to) location management, Global Real Estate, Global Technology, Human Resources, internal work streams, business resource groups and more.
  • Write, edit and distribute targeted communications including executive messages, business updates, success / recognition stories, etc.
  • Partner with Hong Kong and Singapore managers to develop and implement communication plans and programs that support and reinforce local strategy, priorities and key programs.
  • Serve as communications advisor to the Hong Kong and Singapore corporate center leadership teams, providing counsel and guidance on effective communication strategies, executive visits, key location events, etc.
  • Partner with other corporate communicators to cross-promote Hong Kong and Singapore content in location and firm-wide channels.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in communications, event management, marketing, public relations
  • 3 plus years of overall communications experience within banks or financial institutions and other MNC\'s
  • Self-starter who can manage and prioritize multiple projects, stakeholders and deadlines while delivering high quality product.
  • Outstanding judgment and interpersonal skills, including partnering effectively with all levels of employees across the company.
  • Ability to excel in a matrix environment, both as an individual contributor and as part of the larger Corporate Communications team.
  • Excellent writing, editing, execution and organizational skills.
  • Proactive, creative and detail-oriented individual who has a passion for communications, a focus on the employee experience and the ability to work in a highly matrixed organization.
  • The individual should have an owner\'s mindset, a marketing \xe2\x80\x9cthink outside the box\xe2\x80\x9d perspective and a positive attitude.
  • The individual should have a solution-oriented approach and should be comfortable asking questions, respectfully challenging \xe2\x80\x9cdirection,\xe2\x80\x9d and suggesting new ideas.
  • Ability to think strategically while delivering on the tactics.
  • A highly organized individual who works well under pressure and adapts quickly to change.
  • A team player who can drive consensus and partner well with employees at all levels.
